The Albatross Aviary Tropical and Endangered Companion Bird Rescue and Sanctuary Training Program is designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills to be a competent and compassionate avian caretaker, setting you on a path to make a real difference in the lives of these magnificent feathered companions.

Available as a three-month foundational program or comprehensive six-month internship, this program provides instruction on avian care, positive reinforcement training, and the socialization of tropical and endangered birds. With the help of a dedicated team of avian experts, you will be able to train in our state-of-the-art sanctuary and gain hands-on experience with a wide range of rescued birds in a real-world setting.

In addition to learning to understand the unique needs of different species on subjects ranging from diet preparation to habitat enrichment and socialization, you will be able to assist with community and educational outreach and directly contribute to preservation and conservation efforts for tropical and endangered birds.
