Youth Bird Drawing Program
Inspiring Creativity, Nurturing Conservation, and Building Community
The Youth Bird Drawing Program is a creative and educational initiative tailored for children ages 6-12, hosted at the Albatross Aviary craft room, that guides young participants through a series of bird-focused art projects designed to inspire creativity, impart knowledge about avian species, and contribute to the conservation of our feathered friends.
Available as a six-week or extended twelve-week course, participants in this program will have the opportunity to use acrylic paint, pastels, colored pencils, markers, and more to create vibrant and lifelike bird artwork while also learning about bird habitats, the unique characteristics of different bird species, and the importance of bird conservation. Combining art with scientific education, this program is a great way to empower a new generation of artists and conservationists.
