ALBATROSS AVIARY
Welcome! Albatross Aviary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the crisis of unwanted birds by rescue and lifelong sanctuary. We take in unwanted, neglected, abused, and abandoned birds and give them a happy and rich environment to live out the rest of their lives.
We also have a strong commitment to animal welfare advocacy through public education and community building efforts. We do this by offering workshops and other educational events, collaborating with and hosting community events, and consulting with current bird owners to ensure their companions are healthy and happy.
Please note: We do not offer adoptions to the public.

Our Mission:
Albatross Aviary is committed to rescuing and providing lifelong sanctuary for neglected, abused, and abandoned birds. Through public education, we advocate for avian welfare and ethical bird ownership, aiming to reduce bird displacement by promoting awareness and education.
Our Pledge:
We are dedicated to ethically addressing the crisis of unwanted birds in the Midwest. Our priority is the well-being, care, safety, and conservation of these intelligent creatures, and we do and will refrain from exploitative practices while advocating for their protection.
